Four weeks before your event, your coordinator or point person should reach out to us with a timeline via email and should include all the necessary information, such as the following: • Start time (the burros will arrive approximately 1 to 1.5 hours before the start time to allow sufficient time to do final grooming and dress them in their outfits) • Where to park the trailer • Where beverages will be located • You are responsible for providing beverages for the burros to carry in their insulated cooler baskets. If you want the burros to carry alcoholic beverages, they will need a licensed bartender to walk around with them to open and hand out those beverages. The burros can also carry soft drinks, party favors, or flowers. • Themes and outfits can be requested and negotiated. We have several outstanding existing outfits suitable for various events and can furnish photos on request. • Price for two burros: There is a 0ne hour minimum of $750 for two burros with $200 for each additional half hour thereafter. Each donkey will have an experienced handler. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due upon event date reservation. Balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event. *Why 2 burros? We bring 2 burros to every event because it makes the animals happier. They are good friends. • In Colorado, the law provides a limited statutory defense for negligent conduct, as some inherent risks are involved in equine activities. The Colorado law provides that an equine professional shall post warning signs and any written contracts shall also contain the warning. WARNING UNDER COLORADO LAW, AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITES PURSUANT TO SECTION 13-21-119. COLORADO REVISED STATUTES. This contract goes into full effect and locks in the event date only upon receipt of the non-refundable deposit of $100.
